• Fat burning activities should be avoided early on and you should rest and sleep on your side or your stomach.
• It’s recommended that you take bed rest for the first few days before your follow up visit to your clinic.
• To avoid stressing the area, you should steer clear of sitting for at least one week; depending on the nature of your job, you can return to work after two weeks providing your job isn’t sedentary.
• Extensive sitting isn’t recommended because it’s important not to put pressure on your butt for more than a few minutes at a time. Try to use a soft cushion or donut-shaped pillow.
