How to Ensure You Receive Quality Care in Denpasar?

If you are thinking of getting filler abroad, you will want to take note of the following points:

1) Are the same brands of filler available as at home?

Yes–you can get the exact same types of fillers in Bali as you would at home. Well-known temporary hyaluronic fillers, like Juvederm® and Restylane®, are available along with lesser-known brands that may not have licenses at home or are new to the market.

2) What about the quality of the clinics? Can I trust them?

Generally, yes. Nevertheless–we always advise that you visit a reliable clinic that administers treatments under the supervision of a doctor. As fillers are so commonplace these days, it is easy to forget they are injections and should be treated as a medical procedure.

If you book with Medical Departures, you can rest assured that all our clinics offering dermal fillers do so under the supervision of qualified doctors and practitioners. We have performed background checks, list doctor qualifications and their professional memberships on our site.. We do the legwork so you can effortlessly see where their expertise lies.

Below are some of our popular clinics. You will also find patient reviews, clinic photos and prices – simplifying your task of choosing a suitable clinic.

3) Temporary or permanent?

The effects of temporary fillers (particularly the natural, hyaluronic acid ones) can last anywhere between six months and a year. However, they are cumulative, so if you book in top-up filler sessions, the second and third injections may well last longer.

Permanent fillers are just that. Still, think very carefully about going ahead with permanent dermal fillers. If you do not like the effect, you are stuck with it.

4) Do not overdo the sun-tanning

As you may know, the sun’s harmful rays age your skin more quickly than anything else. However, if you have just undergone dermal filler treatment, it is recommended you keep out of the sun for a few days. Thus, either get your face tanned before your treatment (and smother on the sunblock) or wear a wide-brimmed hat if you are in the sun. Alternatively, get the treatment toward the end of your holiday.
